Blue Roma stone
Applications

How we read
a slab.

Material studies, not other people's projects. Each one shows how a stone is read for a specific room.

No borrowed
projects.

We do not publish other people's villas as our own. Until our first projects are photographed, these are material studies: how we would read a slab for a kitchen, a bathroom or a feature wall.

They are honest about what they are — and useful for the decision in front of you.

Blue Roma kitchen study
Material study 01 — Kitchen

One island.
One continuous vein.

Blue Roma, 20 mm, polished. A 3.2 m island with a mitred edge, book-matched so the vein runs across the top and down the side without a break.

The stone is the gesture. The cabinetry stays quiet.

Taj Mahal bathroom study
Material study 02 — Bathroom

A quiet field
for brass.

Taj Mahal quartzite, 20 mm, honed. Full-height walls and a single slab behind the bath, with the vein running horizontally to widen the room.

Honed, not polished: less reflection, more mineral calm.

Negresco feature wall study
Material study 03 — Feature wall

One panel.
Full height.

Negresco quartzite, 30 mm, polished. A single 3.6 m panel with the vein set vertically, so the wall reads taller and the room darker.

No book-match. No repeats. One slab, one gesture.

04 — Directions

Three ways
to read a stone.

Reference directions, not completed QUNSTONE projects. Each shows how we read material for a different interior — quiet luxury, French classicism, and contemporary grandeur.

Taj Mahal stone

Quiet Luxury

Taj Mahal · honed

Full-height walls, a single slab behind the bath, no visible joints. The stone is the only ornament.

Chantilly stone

French Classicism

Chantilly · polished

A marble fireplace, a stone floor laid to the room's axis, and boiserie kept pale so the stone can speak.

Blue Roma stone

Contemporary Grandeur

Blue Roma · book-matched

Ceremonial scale, book-matched stone, dark timber and brass. The room is composed around one decisive gesture.

Blanco Superior stone

Quiet Luxury

Blanco Superior · honed

A pale, quiet field for timber, linen and shadow. The stone reads as light rather than pattern.

Cristallo stone

French Classicism

Cristallo · polished

A stone for a grand salon: mirror-polished, quietly veined, held between mouldings and tall windows.

Negresco stone

Contemporary Grandeur

Negresco · polished

One dark panel, floor to ceiling, with the vein set vertically. The room becomes taller and quieter.

Reference directions, not completed projects. Images show material character, not a QUNSTONE installation.
Your project

Send us the room.

A sketch, a mood board or a dimension is enough. We will tell you which slab direction works, and what it costs to ship.
